Who We Are
Tom Perry Contracting LLC is a locally owned and family-operated excavation and grading company proudly serving the Colorado Front Range, foothills, and mountain communities. Founded by owner and operator Tom Perry, the company was built on a simple philosophy: take on the projects others avoid, do the job right the first time, and help customers bring their visions to life through honest work, reliable service, and quality craftsmanship.
Tom started Tom Perry Contracting LLC because he genuinely enjoys helping people and seeing projects come to fruition. Whether it’s creating access to raw land, preparing a future home site, repairing a mountain driveway, or solving difficult drainage issues, he takes pride in turning challenging properties into functional, usable spaces. He especially enjoys difficult projects involving rough terrain, steep grades, raw land access, and detailed finish work — treating every project like a craft and taking pride in being an artist with dirt work.
With over 25 years of hands-on experience, Tom’s background in construction started early, beginning summer work at just 14 years old. Over the years, he gained experience in road work, underground utilities, environmental cleanup projects across the country, and heavy highway construction before eventually starting his own company. His experience working on large-scale and demanding projects helped develop the precision, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail that now set Tom Perry Contracting LLC apart.
Originally from the Buffalo, New York area, Tom remains a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan at heart. He has proudly called the Denver metro area home for the past 20 years alongside his Colorado native wife, who helps operate the family business, and who has done her best to turn him into a Broncos fan along the way.
